While I wrote a weekly newsletter, Sunday Snapshots, for more than 2 years (2019 – 2021), I often found myself pining for writing that was more considered and longer form.

This blog/personal website is a place for more considered writing (not always longer.) It comes alongside an interest in all sorts of more considered craft — cooking, running, film, and more. I’m increasingly fascinated by people who put care into the things they put out into the world, and what drives them.

I will primarily write about biographies and the lessons I learned from them and the history of important companies. Other topics might include some discussion on movies I’m watching, the latest fad in espresso brewing, and missives on the ever increasing price of Potra 400 film.
